this is discussing Mies van der Rohe’s conceptions of space, first reading by Barry Bergdoll, which will give you an overview of Mies’s villas and the influence of garden design on his conception and a second by Robin Evans, which will focus primarily on the Barcelona Pavilion and Mies’s unique approach to symmetry.
