Critically discuss and evaluate how national policy concerning PE and school sport filters down to affect local school and community sport strategies paying attention to contemporary issues and providing evidence through case study examples.
Introduce and explain the status of sport with regards to school PE and sport policy setting and national government agendas and sport sectors within the UK.
Produce a comparative example of how school sport policy and planning models in the UK compare to one other country.
Discuss and apply key principles of policy and planning in PE and school sport and relate them to contemporary issues in local sport for the UK.
Evaluate and conclude how policy from national to local level is affected by social and economic factors in relation to PE and school sport in the UK.
